The FPC00005 Venti antenna is a 4-in-1 MIMO, flexible PCB monopole antenna designed to operate at widely used Wi-Fi frequencies. It is a future-proof antenna that covers the frequencies required for Wi-Fi 6 applications. With excellent efficiency and isolation performance, the FPC00005is suitable for all Wi-Fi applications. Its low profile height of only 0.15mm makes it an ideal solution for fitting into narrow spaces, such as plastic enclosures for laptops, tablets, routers, and other Wi-Fi applications.
FPC00005 antenna is designed with a flexible material and a rectangular form-factor, allowing for easy installation. It features a cable connection and comes with double-sided 3M tape for convenient and robust "peel and stick" mounting. The antenna cables are equipped with IPEX connectors, ensuring easy installation.
Typical Applications
- Smart Home
- Routers and Gateways
- Smart Devices
- HD Video Streaming
Module manufacturers often specify peak gain limits for antennas connected to their modules, based on free-space conditions. However, in real-world scenarios, the peak gain of an antenna can degrade by at least 1 or 2dBi when placed inside a device. To compensate for this effect and achieve better performance, it is recommended to choose an antenna with slightly higher peak gain than specified in the module's requirements.
Keesun conducts testing of antennas with devices, considering layout, integration techniques, and cables to ensure that the peak gain of the antenna remains below the specified limits. We can provide a specification and/or report for the selected antenna in your device, demonstrating compliance with peak gain limits and ensuring regulatory requirements are met for the module.
