Custom antenna refers to the antenna designed and manufactured according to the specific application requirements, which takes into account the specifications of the equipment, performance requirements, working environment and other factors. The customization process may include selecting the appropriate antenna type (e.g. built-in FPC, LDS or external flat, Yagi, etc.), determining the frequency band, gain, impedance matching, shape, size, weight, and any special environmental adaptability (e.g. IP class for water and dust resistance).
Compatibility with wireless modules is considered in the design to ensure optimal signal reception and transmission in specific scenarios (such as Internet of Things, GPS positioning, wireless communication devices). For example, in automotive or drone applications, custom antennas must not only meet performance metrics, but also take into account physical constraints and conditions of use. Simulation, prototype testing and certification are carried out in close collaboration with suppliers to ensure that the antenna meets all predetermined technical and physical requirements.
